Isn't it amusingly ironic that whenever someone decides to point out someone
else's errors in spelling and grammar, they invariably make errors of their
own? :)

How did I stumble into this discussion group?
Does anyone know where the RC soaring group relocated?

Can you spell Bulls---!!

Here lets try this. I went out and flew my 2M Super V today and it was a
little windy. Does anyone out there have a trick way to add ballast short of
doing a major mod to the fuse?

I did a bit of sloping over New Haven harbor. My ballast was held on to the
outside of the fuse with packing tape... :)

Worked for me.

A few examples of incorrect usage on RCSE:

to = too = two = 2
we're = were = where
But hey, I caught your drift !

Carl, Agreed however with the lack of capitilisation, and
 punctuation, like
that below, they won't listen to you. :) Desended from convicts
 you may be,
but unless you have been in jail, a convict you are not.

Congratulations on your fourteenth place in the W.C.

I'll second that!
Also, according to the rumour mill it was with an Ellipse 2V...
Hey Carl, hasn't anyone told you that's a F3B plane, not a F3J one?
And that it's outdated anyway?

Don't knock the Ellipses, currently the Ellipse 2V holds the f3f record
as well.
There was an Ellipse 1T flown into 2nd place at our recent Scottish
thermal Nats.

Naturally a Pike Plus won that event.

In defense of all, however, it is very easy to overlook an error in
one's
written word, often done in a rush in these posts and discovered only
after
it has been sent off. Any of us can be guilty on occasion. Such words as
"chord" and "cord", "their" and "there" can easily be misused and
  overlooked.

Some who regularly post on the exchange do habitually and flagrantly
butcher the language. Unfortunately, while they may have something
important to say, their credibility suffers in the eyes of those who
know
better. You'd like to correct them, but risk coming off as "holier than
thou". It's just easier to hit the delete key and let them wallow in
their
ignorance. Personally, I very much appreciate having my errors in the
spoken or written word pointed out. I just do not understand anyone's
willingness to go through life screwing up the language.

It seems very odd to me that if I were to say "They doesn't live here
any
more", the guy who says "He don't live here any more" would note my
error,
  but be oblivious to his.
