2006-11-02 Thread Rick Eckel

Gang,

Just a reminder to get your entry forms in and notify me of your
channel usage for the Tangerine Soaring Championship.

This year we are running a seeded man-on-man contest with a
fly-off. It is necessary that each pilot in an event be on a unique channel.

The events will be:

Saturday's Two Events:
Two Meter
Unlimited

Sunday's Two Events:
RES
Unlimited

Entry forms are available at:
http://www.orlandobuzzards.org/

T-shirts with pre-registration and available for sale at the contest.

Drop me an email for instant checking of frequency availability.

Thanks. Hope to see you in a few weeks!

Rick

Fellow Soarers,

Wanted to let everyone know that pre-registration for the Tangerine
Soaring Championship is now open. Please email me with your
intentions so I can track frequencies. Follow up with your entry form
and fees. Once I have your entry form I will confirm that your spot
is secure. ([EMAIL PROTECTED])

Registration form and information is available
at:http://www.orlandobuzzards.org/TANGERINE_ENTRY_INFO.pdf

This year we will be running the contest in a seeded Man-on-man
format. Saturday we will host two events - Unlimited and 2meter. On
Sunday we will have two events also - Unlimited and RES. Pilots will
be classified into two groups: Sportsman/Expert and Masters. There
will be awards for the first three places in each event for each
pilot classification.

The events will be flown with separate groupings. 2meter will fly in
groups against other 2meters while Unlimiteds will fly in groups
against other Unlimiteds. A pilot may choose to enter two events on
the same day. Just keep in mind that pilots are expected to fly and
time for someone else in each round, in each event. Flying two events
will keep a guy plenty busy.

A four man fly off will determine the overall Champion. Hope to see
you in Orlando at Thanksgiving time!

Rick

PS Pre-registration entitles you to a T-shirt! Additional t-shirts
will be available for purchase.
