Well, no, a bit, if you are of the tray type RC pilots a Swede came up with a nifty system using a car battery and a few bulbs under a Perspex canopy over the tray with openings with mittens (or similar) for you hands. In essence it looks pretty much like an incubator for very small infants, lacking the oxygen bottles. The car lamps were in series so they only glowed, but gave enough warmth anyway for -20, and you could reach any control easily. I will try one of those one day!
