Re: [RCSE] Whatchabuildin?

2002-01-05 Thread Vabarker1
I am building an old ASW-19 (kit) I purchased from a friend and frllow flyer and I have an Airtronics, Thermal-Eagle. I would like to use a gyro in these planes to keep the wings level when landing. My reflexes are no longer sharp nor acute.(redundent)

Would someone, who is knowledgable ,please advise as to type and mfg. Also,
I do not have a lot of money to spend for this item, ($100.00/$200.00).

I hope my request does not offend the GRAMMAR FREAKS who patrol the digest for TRIVIA to screech about, such as TYPOS ETC.

Thank you for any advise and help.

Well, here in SC, the weather isn't typically going
to stop anyone from flying the last 3 days being an entirely different
story.

Here are my projects:
- pulling molds from an ABS-hulled tunnelhull boat
in order to replicate it in fiberglass
- building several planes Skeeter kitbashing,
Midwest Essence, Klingberg 3 wing, GP Spectra
- learning to fly rotary wing with better
results than fixed, so far! with a LiteMachines LMH110+ helicopter. TONS of
fun!
- building a couple low-buck electric hydroplane
boats to run off of 7 cell NIMH and 05 car motors, for myself and a few
friends
- racing 10th scale gas and electric
cars
- learning to fly ?!? Yes- I tend to get
too far into things sometime..

OK, can't resist, in order:

Artemis LT
36% Edge 540 - DA100 cc - 105 span
ASH-26 - 6 meter molded Schuler
Molded Graphite Electric
39% Edge 540T - DA150 cc - 117 span
4 meter molded Discus

Assumes I have enough time left over from my second and third jobs to pay
for the 46 or so servos this is going to take!!

 Building?

 Well, let's see.

 Stratos
 Ellipse 3
 Permax 450 powered Bearcat
 Own design Astro 010 pitcheron
 Cavasos (Laird) BD5
 22' scratched out ASW somethin'
 102 scratched (foam) Nimbus 4d
 Hummer (on the way)
 Brisk II
 Evolution (Hacker power)
 Mini 1 XL
 and the list goes on...

So, some day, I'll have something other than a Falcon 600 and twin
electric
 P38 to fly :-0~
