[RCSE] accident

I had heard there was a nasty accident at the MOM races at Davenport a couple 
of weeks ago.  I think I heard the individual had to be air lifted to the 
hospital.  Who was the person and how is he/she doing?
Will this jeopardize any future flying at that site?  It would be a shame since 
this is one of our favorite spots to fly on the central coast.  
What sort of saftey precautions were taken during this contest?  Was this 
an NCSS (Northern California Slope Soarers) sponsered event?

Unfortunately during the last race a model got out of control and went 
into the area where the pilots, and course workers are. One of the 
volunteers took a plane in the head, and neck.


From what I heard his injuries weren't life threatening, but he was 
unconscious for a while, and was flown out by helicopter to the hospital.
