Who needs a gadget to tell about the wind at your flying site anyway? 
A hand full of loose grass and a nearby flags is trustworthy enough for me

You can usually get a Radio Shack store to do a computer search on 
whereare the nearest stores which have out-of-stock items. I did 
this in the Austin area today, and did find one store which had a few (I bought 
most of them for the Austin Silent Flyers members).

Of what I read about part # 64-1119 it's only good for top speed of 30 mph. 
Probably be good for flyers on east coast, but out west wind starts at 30.
