RE: [RCSE] Blue thingy on the 5125
I must be missing something. The blue thingy is an anodised metal servo arm and the dark spots are the holes. Is it possible that someone got smart enough to manufacture a thin, RDS-dedicated servo to directly accept a drive shaft with the bent end that slips into the pocket? Well! . .I blinked and then it looked like a servo arm. At first glance, it looked like something tubular-like running parallel along the side of the case! Hope I never have to be a witness to something important I thought I saw! - Original Message - From: Harley Michaelis [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, January 07, 2002 1:47 PM Subject: [RCSE] Blue thingy on the 5125 Anyone know if the dark spots on the blue thingy are setscrews? RE: [RCSE] Blue thingy on the 5125
I have a perfectly good monitor, and cannot see what you're referring to Harley. The photo I get to from this link: http://www.hitecrcd.com/Newproducts/5125.htm shows me a view of the servo from an angle that wouldn't show set screws even if they were there, only the arm surface that has the main mounting screw and the holes for clevises. So I'm wondering whether there is more than one photo, or what's going on? Anyone have clarification here? Are folks using another link with another photo? Lift, Scobie in Seattle. I'm with you Harley. I though the holes were set screws too. I had to look real hard to that it was a servo arm. -Ben Harley Michaelis wrote: Well! . .I blinked and then it looked like a servo arm. Re: [RCSE] Blue thingy on the 5125
The eyes are playing tricks with your mind. That is a servo arm NOT, as your mind is seeing it, a shaft sticking out the top of the servo with holes in it. I'm not sure anyone is ever going to be ?smart? enough to make a RDS dedicated servo - Original Message - From: Harley Michaelis [EMAIL PROTECTED] Anyone know if the dark spots on the blue thingy are setscrews?
