If you need to see it being done , check out my web site at http://www.scrollsander.com and click on the link for airplanes. I have a picture of using them on templates, and it is alot easier than any belt sander. Whe conplete I take 400 or 600 grit paper and go lengthwise on the edge to remove the final roughness. I cut great cores. Good Luck Chris Adams ."I sue a scroll saw, then finish them off with my ScrollSanders." Re: Subject: Re: [RCSE] Foam cutting Template help
I use aluminium angle extrusion. Easy to rough out with shears and finish with a file. They get screwed directly onto the work surface so template and foam have a common datum. You really need 4 per section, upper and lower surfaces on both left and right. These are finished in left/right pairs. -harold =?iso-8859-1?q?Brad=20Willoughby?= ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) wrote: : Daniel, : Yet another material for core cutting templates: sheet metal.
