 I everybody,

I'm a lucky (?) owner of one WD Mybook studio II (raid 1 configured +

The sata connecter is on a pata/sata bridge connected to the geode's
ata/ide controller..

You can see the marvell bridge in the upper right hand corner of the
board, under the cf socket.

My goal is to connect it to the sata connector of my net5501 box.

OS on My net5501 is debian lenny.

What is the driver for sata connector ?

Of course, any other information about my goal will be appreciated...

Well if you want it to remain removable, it's probably better to simply
attach it via USB, I have a little trouble imagining it being much
faster when connected via the sata interface given all the other
bottlenecks in the path.

Presumably you're booting off either the cf interface or the pata and so
the cable select issues noted in the soekris.info wiki would apply.

 Thanks in advance.

 Hi soekris-tech list

I am trying to get OpenBSD 4.4 and 'gpioctl' working with an 4801, but so
 far without any luck..

To the /etc/rc.securelevel i have added:

 /usr/sbin/gpioctl -c 20 out pp; # error LED

But, gpioctl complains about /dev/gpio0 missing ??

Does anybody have any hints about what can be wrong or how i can get gpioctl
 to work?

[Soekris] Soekris 4801 Max current on JP5 Pin 1 and 2 ?

2009-03-05 Thread Thomas Elsgaard
Hi Guys

What is the max current on JP5 pin 1 and 2 on the 4801 ? Pin 1 and 2
is the +3.3 and +5 volt

I can see that phk earlier has answered Source 3mA, sink 6mA on the
GPIO, but what about pin 1 and 2?

And does anyone know a place in DK (or relatively close) where i can
buy a 20-pin IDC cable?
