I have now tried with several PSUs and same result. I even bought a new one today and it still only detect 410 MB at boot. Any point is trying to have it repaired, since it just went out of warranty? I'm 99.9% certain you have bad memory - the instability and the sudden memory drop are a dead giveaway. Will something like memtest or goldmemory work on a soekris box?
