Before the minute 55 point it's enhanced in game footage, or rather animation  
rendered via the unreal 3 engine.I think DD was using maya as their animation 
platform.

After that point Soft, Arnold ,mootz and exocortex on the 3d side and Nuke for 
comping...

I think the gift was mostly access to
  Nuke customer reel clips. :]
  
  (inlcuding a breathtaking intricately detailed Elysium landscapes
  and number of other shots I know to be largely SI)
  
  I know at Siggraph there tends to be all the same FX shots at
  every booth lol, but.

This very much feels like a welcoming gift from foundry to modo, its a
piece of tech that benefits the design industry and shows that they are
committed to the aliance.

I'd be very interested to see how luxologic reciprocates the gesture :P

Really impressed at how the foundry is trying to find workflow solutions to 
problems first and then building the tech around that. Rather then just 
throwing existing tech together.

Definitely more mature in some aspects Vlad, however the ability to send
stuff back into a 3D app after calibration is pretty cool

all the other stuff I'm sure they will be able to match up in time.
