Maya Timeline ticks
Such a dumb arse questions - but I'm sure it's some preference somewhere I can't spot. Is there a way to filter the red ticks in the timeline to only appear depending on what Transform you have active - so just the scale, transform or rotation once activated via the keyboard - i.e. just showing what is being Marked as a Parameters for keying. I don't want to ask it to follow the channel Box (such a crappy way to work) and Setting Timeline preferences to 'Smart' is ok, but it will show all animation keys on that object from what I can tell - or require I filter it by the Channel box again. Re: Maya Timeline ticks
It has some filters if you right click on the timeline I believe. RE: Maya Timeline ticks
It does...but there are just to filter all channels, those you mark in the channel box or none. You can look in the preferences of the time line and turn on a further option 'Smart'...but this won't further filter rot, trans and scale unless you mark it in the channel box again. I would have thought by simply activating a transform in the viewport, there would be an option to sync the ticks to just show that transform methos. Like in Soft.
