Keep in mind that there is no way to bypass the most important cache of all

[jira] Created: (SOLR-1363) Search without using caches

2009-08-13 Thread Jason Rutherglen (JIRA)
Search without using caches
---

 Key: SOLR-1363
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-1363
 Project: Solr
  Issue Type: Improvement
  Components: search
Affects Versions: 1.4
Reporter: Jason Rutherglen
Priority: Minor
 Fix For: 1.5

For testing, I often need to perform a query and see the actual time it takes
(rather than the time it takes to look it up from the cache). We'll need
various options such as bypass the docsets, docs, or results.
