I'll take a look.  Have you tried a diff. version of Maven?

Hmm, WFM (Works for me) but I'm on a Mac.

Does ant -diagnostics show anything weird?  You might try echoing out  
the basedir and the maven.build.dir

I only see the behavior on windows.  Works fine in linux/mac  (with  
same maven version)


Running with maven 2.2.1 I get the same results...

I'll try some more debugging tomorow
