On my RHEL 5.4, it is located at

# locate XML/LibXML/Common.pm
/usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/XML/LibXML/Common.pm

and owned by perl-XML-LibXML-Common, which is required by
perl-XML-LibXML, which is required by spacewalk-base,
spacewalk-sniglets, and spacewalk-setup.

What system is this and how did you install Spacewalk without having
the dependencies installed as well?

[Spacewalk-list] Spacewalk @ FUDCon

2010-06-10 Thread Marcus Moeller
Hi all.

As most of you already might know, FUDCon EMEA is going to happen in
Zurich this year. It would be to have some Spacewalk
'team/userbase/community' meetup, so we could do something like a
hackfest and have some talks about Spacewalk.

It's not set yet, but (if we got enough budget left) we are planning
to order a 'Shuttle-Bus' from Brno, so you Czech guys should already
think about reserving a seat :)

Please just put your name on this list:

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FUDCon:Zurich_2010_Pre-registration

or contact us if you got any further questions.

Best Regards
Marcus

Re: [Spacewalk-list] osa and jabberd Problem

NOTE: Resent due to formatting problems.

Hello:

I recently installed Spacewalk 1.0 on a fresh install of CentOS 5.5 and
encountered startup problems with jabberd and osa-dispatcher immediately after
setup. I fixed up the ownership of /var/jabberd/db/ and the permissions of the
.xml files in /etc/jabberd. I also uncommented the pemfile entry in c2s.xml and
fixed the permissions of server.pem so that jabberd could read it. I
uncommented the tag in sm.xml to stop a failure I was
encountering with osa-dispatcher; however, another problem has introduced
itself. Doing a tail -fn0 on c2s.log, sm.log and osa-dispatcher.log shows this:

Hello,

The last couple of months we got some problems with installing updates
on spacewalk nodes (CentOS 4 and CentOS 5).

The errors I get on the CentOS 4 machines (using a fresh installed
