Look at how subscription manager does it its a yum repo with a PKI key for authentication. What I can tell you the spacewalk 2.1 code currently in development already supports deploying RHEL 7 servers and virtual machines. Well no one from Red Hat will ever really give you a strait answer on any thing like this unless you've signed a NDA and talk to them off the list.
