[Spacewalk-list] Cobbler repodata not updated.

2019-05-24 Thread FRANK Michael
Hello,

We much appreciate all the hard work spent from Spacewalk team to make this
perfect tool a big success. We using it since years and we are very happy with
it.

After upgrade of Spacewalk to Version 2.8 we unfortuntely cannot install new
hosts via cobbler 2.0.11.
We are using an ISO file to bootstrap the new host.
Anaconda stops because the spoke software selsection is not is not complete.
On the new host I find in /tmp/packaging.log:
08:32:48,074 WARN packaging: yum-3.4.3-154.el7.centos.1.noarch requires
rpm >= 4.11.3-22

In the spacewalk channel I have rpm version 4.11.3-35.el7 available and I can
install it on an already installed host.

Installed Packages
rpm.x86_64
4.11.3-21.el7
@anaconda
Available Packages
rpm.x86_64
4.11.3-35.el7
centos_7_base_x86_64_prod

The version 4.11.3-21.el7 was the version initially installed by anaconda
before we merged the channel with the new packages.

On the new machine I find in /tmp/yum.cache/anaconda the following files:

[anaconda root@newhost anaconda]# ls -la
total 8540
drwxr-xr-x. 4 root root 180 May 24 08:32 .

drwxr-xr-x. 2 root root  40 May 24 08:32 packages
-rw-r--r--. 1 root root3735 Jan  5  2017 repomd.xml

The repomd.xml and the comps.xml etc. are not up to date.

All the taskomatic tasks running and I don't find anything helpful in any log.
Also a cobbler sync on command line works without any problem.

Has anyone an helpful hint why this repodata in cobbler are not udated with the
lates package data from the channel?

Any helps is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Michael

 Did you try resyncing the repo after restarting taskomatic. In my case it
 took half a day before taskomatic caught up on all the jobs it missed.

Hi!, I did run the syncronization again but nothing changed. Today,
after the weekend, the repositories are working O_o

I guess the processes needed some time, thanks!.

Yes, I've run a manual sync with spacewalk-repo-sync and the packages

Re: [Spacewalk-list] no repodata

2012-02-08 Thread Denis Zinevich
Finally i figured out problem.
Spacewalk used system-wide java installed, with libs in /usr/share/java
/usr/share/java/postgresql-jdbc.jar was symlinked to 8.1 jdbc driver. I've
downloaded and relinked it to 9.1 jdbc4 driver, and now everything works fine.

08.02.2012, 16:17, Denis Zinevich l...@ngc.net.ua:
 well, that didn't help.
 I've cleaned tables as you sugessted ( with no errors ), and restarted
 services.
 When trying to single schedule run channel-repodata-bunch I'm getting same
 error in taskomatic log.

  You may try to reinitialize quartz configuration:

  1. stop spacewalk services
  2. run following sql commands:

  DELETE FROM qrtz_job_details;
  DELETE FROM qrtz_job_listeners
  DELETE FROM qrtz_triggers
  DELETE FROM qrtz_simple_triggers
  DELETE FROM qrtz_cron_triggers
  DELETE FROM qrtz_blob_triggers

  DELETE FROM qrtz_calendars
  DELETE FROM qrtz_paused_trigger_grps
  DELETE FROM qrtz_fired_triggers

  DELETE FROM qrtz_locks

  INSERT INTO qrtz_locks values('JOB_ACCESS');
  INSERT INTO qrtz_locks values('CALENDAR_ACCESS');
  INSERT INTO qrtz_locks values('STATE_ACCESS');
  INSERT INTO qrtz_locks values('MISFIRE_ACCESS');

  3. start spacewalk services

  By deleting the quartz configuration, it shall be reinitialized.
