Ok. Latest source code is always available at http://benoit.papillault.free.fr/speedtouch/speedtouch.tar.gz I'm planning on doing RPM this Week End. I have only the modem plugged in the usb card After mailing, i looked in errors messages and it seems that it is the function sk_buff which causes the pb...in sk_buff.c i did find on this file, looked in it and saw that there was an error handler in it.. it's this error handler that tell me there's an problem. At the top of the sk_buff.c there's also said that you must disable interrupts before calling the function and when the machine hangs it says "killing interrupt handler" so i'm wondering if there's not a bug in mgmt.. > > > I'm wondering if mgmt is not the cause.. so can someone send his > modem_init > > and modem_diag binaries please? > > > > You can find the binaries file on the web of Benoit Maybe near the src > file Ok i'll look, i didn't see them at first.. You don't need to compile modem_init and modem_diag, you just need to compile modem_run and pppoa2. Just check the dependencies in the Makefile to choose wether you want to use Benoit's libusb replacement or not. (comment the appropriate lines) and then go for it : make modem_run make pppoa2 and that should be fine. Hope this will help.
