Re: SPRINKLERS INSIDE OVENS
I was visualizing circuit board drying ovens but I see other ovens with materials inside that could combust at this temperature. Tyco has a formula for determine how long a dry pendent needs to be to keep from transferring freezing temperatures to a wet supply. Perhaps that can be used to figure the rate heat would dissipate from your drops and not be to high for your system. If expansion is your only consideration then a PRV at the riser or main drain will fix that. And finally put a control valve on the drops as you will be replacing those heads often. If I recall, annually if links and every five if bulbs. On Thursday, October 13, 2016, wrote: > NFPA 86 dictates the types of ovens which require internal fire > suppression. NFPA 86 dictates the types of ovens which require internal fire suppression. There are all kinds of ovens other than just the type for cooking. Craig L. Wet, dry, or pre-action, the problems are 1) the pressure rating of the components at the operating temperature of the oven, and 2) what happens to 360 degree liquid water when you decompress it? I know that I need to use a sprinklers 360°F or high. But this system is tie to a same roof grid.
