My question is that I have a client who would like to be able to have a different database file for each group of data they are collecting (a test involving data acquisition). The database file would be saved to a network share that would occasionally get backed up by the network admin. The database itself would be run locally. Every time a new test was run a new database file would be generated and every time a test needed to be analyzed a different database file would have to be opened. I know this is a little unorthodox and without getting into why the client wishes to do this I was wondering if it's even possible much less a good idea?
