If you have an email client that can handle "mailto:"-prefixed link in the web page, the one just to the right of the respondee's name under the page title, it will get the right reference to link your response to the preceding post/email. Mozilla's Thunderbird is one such client, but many other can do this. How do I reply to a thread?
