I've been running LMS 7.9.2 on a Synology DS418 for ages, thanks to the repackaged software by @pinkdot . I just upgraded with the LMS 8.0 package, and it's great. What is the OS of the platform on which LMS is running. If login is using https and Perl support libraries are too old, you may get a problem with https.
