How does this fade out on pause work. Can't say I have ever noticed it.

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] 7.9.3 and 8.0 "fade out time" Parameter?

2020-08-22 Thread Aki7

Hi,

at first many thanks for your great software. There has been some work
on the buggy fading behavior since 7.9.2.

Seems, there is a automatic "fade out on pause" since 7.9.3 - very nice
feature but:

My piCoreplayers, switching off the Amps on "soft power off" via GPIO.
The fading out play commands power-on the Amp again.

Is there any *Paramter* to set this "*fade out time*" to 0 or disable
it? (There is a "fade in time" in the player settings but cannot find
"fade out time").

Otherwise i have to go back to 7.9.2

Thanks
Aki

p.s.: Just testet 7.9.2 - no fade out.

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 7.9.2 stopping

2020-08-22 Thread agbagb

Plus, the most current release of 7.9.3 (7.9.3 - 1597753178) has a
couple of small fixes to address the puzzling repository errors that are
still persisting, while our genius volunteer coders are wrestling the
issue to the ground ... I installed it this morning over my
previous 7.9.3, with no problems at all.

LMS 7.9.3 (1596893334)
Win10
Control: Web GUI; sometimes OrangeSqueeze on Android phones / pads

Machines / devices are in France, in two locations.
a) Sagem Livebox
Internal HDD (FLAC music; mp3 voice), Desktop
3 x Touch - 2 wireless, 1 LAN. (7.8.0-r16754)
3 x SB Radios [2 wireless, 1 LAN] (7.7.3-r16676)

b) Freebox
External SSD (all mp3), WiFi Laptop
1 x Touch LAN (Firmware:7.8.0-r16754)
1 x SB Radio, Wireless (7.7.3-r16676)
1 x Pair Riva Arenas (via Airplay LMS PlugIn)

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Display album art back cover

2020-08-22 Thread w3wilkes

Yes there is. You need to install the "Music and Artist Information"
plugin. One of the things in this plugin is to view local artwork. I
think I've shut off most of the rest of the options in this plugin
because they slow things down too much.

Main system - Rock Solid with LMS 7.9.3 Official on WHS 2011 - 2 Duets
and Squeeseslave
Cabin system - Rock solid with LMS 7.9.3 Official on Win10 Pro - 1 RPi 3
Model B/Hifiberry DAC+ Pro/PiCorePlayer and Squeezeslave
Squeezebox Boom - "At Large" player around both home and cabin
Headphones and car - Android phone/Bluetooth w/full library on MicroSD
card - PowerAmp music player app (similar to Material Skin)

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Display album art back cover

2020-08-22 Thread joeriz

I often store both the front and back cover album art in my flac files.
Is there any way to display both in LMS? I have also used Music Bee as a
music manager/player and that alternates displaying both in 30 second
increments. Something similar to that would be great.

Thanks!

I had the same problem with 7.9.2 constantly stopping. Installed 7.9.3
and all is well.
