Hi, I have just tried to upgrade LMS from 7.9.1 to 7.9.2. I was able to run the installation onb my NAS, but I couldn't see the server on http://192.168.87.142:9000/ after the installation. Tried upgrading to 7.9.3 and 7.9.4 but with the same result. Does anyone know what could be the issue here? Yes, and its not a bug. 9002 is the lms default in DSM.
As said, the ports on synology for packages are defined (hard coded) in
the config of the package. There no way to change that and make it
persist after a reboot, other than changing the config file in the

I've been testing betas ever since I got them. LMS should work. But I don't use it on a daily basis... so, yes, it should just work. But please let me know should you encounter any issues. I did have to tweak a few lines to make it compatible with Big Sur. That is on Intel hardware. I bought a Vortexbox Appliance back in 2011 and haven't really touched it since. It is running LMS 7.8.0. I no longer use the vortexbox for ripping or anything like that. It runs LMS so I can listen to my music library and stream Tidal. That (and a little home backup) is all the Vortexbox is used for. VortexBox SW Version: 2.3 Linux OS Version: Fedora release 20 (Heisenbug) I have a SB Touch, 2 radios, and a Boom. I control them with the Squeezer app on Android. It has been wonderfully problem-free setup for almost 10 years now. Unfortunately Tidal no longer works and I have read on this forum that I need to update to 8.0 to get Tidal working again. I have absolutely no idea how to accomplish this, and I don't even know where to start. I would be very appreciative if someone could point me in the right direction. (Or am I at the point where I should figure out a completely different way to run LMS?) I've had a Squeezebox Radio for several years but it will not stay connected to the internet. It says it is using the current software version. I have a main router (and also a wifiextender in the same room). Other devices work, but not the radio. Problem started a couple weeks ago although there were intermittent disconnects before. It has been connected to an older LMS on a windows box that is currently switched off. So I should have tried transferring the duet from the dropdown on the local LMS (I hadn't tried opening the dropdown, just observed that the dropdown looked empty, I just went directly to the Players tab in the LMS setting) before disconnectng it from mysb.com...? For a couple of days this cleared up on its own. Now it's back. I uninstalled and reinstalled the TIDAL plug-in in LMS. I uninstalled and re-installed the TIDAL app on mysb.com. Qobuz works fine and doesn't do this. TIDAL (except for stopping randomly after a song, which Qobuz does as well) was working fine for many months. I checked other threads but couldn't find anything that was applicable. Help most appreciated to get TIDAL back working. Ok. Did that. It is still present in players at mysb.com, but with the
disconnect button disabled and no way (that I can see) of readding the
player.

The port is indeed part of the config that comes with the package! When
installing a package, Synology checks if this port is free to use. If
already in use, the install will fail.
Port 9000 was once used by Surveillance Station but is free to use now.
Surveillance Station moved to 9900 and 9901.
So, it will only persist after a reboot when I change the ports
accordingly.

Over the past 4 days Tidal has stopped working on my Raspberry Pi 3 / Max2Play / LMS. I am playing through a Squeezebox touch. Up to this point Tidal has worked fine, with no issues. All other streaming works (Pandora, Spotty, local music). I have tried removing the account from mysqueezebox.com and the LMS, then reinstalling and get the same error. I can open Tidal, browse songs, playlists, mixes, see titles and images, but get this error when trying to play: "Missing or invalid track ID" Sometimes I will get a server connection error- but I don't recall the exact message. Any help, or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have just now installed LMS 8.0.0~1605342997 from http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=8.0 on a debian 10.6 "buster" amd64 system in my home LAN. The LMS is synched with www.mysqueezebox.com and displays the same plugins as mysqueezebox.com (podcasts and TIDAL). But shows up with no players. I have an SB Radio and an SB duet receiver, both in the same LAN as the new LMS and both currently controlled by www.mysqueezebox.com. Is there a simple and safe way to transfer ownership of the duet receiver from to the local LMS? (I'm fine by controlling the Radio with mysb.com) The duet receiver no longer has a working remote control (the battery and/or the charger died on me, years ago). LMS will try the port that is set up in its preferences unless it is refused (e.g. port already in use). So this implies that something else is using port 9000 when LMS is starting up. One thing I found though is that when the default port for this package seems to be 9002, instead of the LMS default 9000. I can change it via the browser to 9000 manually, but every time I restart or update LMS it is reset to 9002. Does anybody have any ideas on how I can get it to persist properly?
