Anyone here running LMS on Windows Server? I don't find any way to get LMS starting correctly and opening the right ports correctly. Each time I restart my server, and despite showing proper settings in the Diagnostic box, LMS becomes not available on any devices on my network. The only way to get it up and running again is to uninstall and re-install, which is far from ideal :(. Things were working very well on WHS before, but since I moved to Windows Server Essentials, there is something not set-up properly in LMS exe. Though not perfect, starting LMS as Admin on the Server seemed so far able to solve my problem as LMS would then open the right ports on the firewall. For a few days though, this doesn't seem to work any more. In the diagnostic page, it would show all OK: LMS : running Server IP : correct server IP (fixed IP) Port 3483 (slimproto): OK Port 9000 (HTTP): OK Port 9090 (CLI): OK Nevertheless, impossible to access to LMS from any PC on the network (PC on the same domain as the server, server visible from all PCs), either through the serverIP:9000 or the serverName:9000. LMS not found either from the duets. Any advice on what I should do on the server (Windows Server) to allow access again? I am pretty blocked at that stage. I have narrowed down the issue I had when upgrading to the fact that LMS is starting without Admin rights on the server, and therefore fails to open the right ports. I experienced issues getting LMS to work properly on my server each time I upgraded. After a few tests, I realize that the issue is coming from the fact that the automatic LMS service start on my Server (Widows Server 2016 Essentials) doesn't have the Admin rights to open the right 9000 ports. As a result, the service starts and LMS is running on the Server, but is not accessible by devices. Only option is to shut down the service on the server and relaunch with Server Admin rights. Is there a setting somewhere hat I have missed, or a way to always ask LMS to start as Admin? I have tried also to reconnect the library through the player... not working either. Says it can't connect to the library. Eventually, I have uninstalled LMS from my Server and re-installed everything. Seems to have solved the problem. Doesn't explained what has happened at the time of the update though... Of course I have tried IP Address:9000, and same thing, page can't be reached. I also looked at the Firewall on the Server, and LMS is listed in the Aps allowed. Surprisingly, LMS appears twice in the list... could the install of latest version have screwed the Firewall settings? There was an update to v7.9.1, 1517314665 pushed to my system on Feb. 09. Since then, I can not mange to access LMS any more from computers connected to the network (through SERVER_NAME:9000 or through my Duet. LMS seems to be running correctly on the server (Windows Server 2016 Essentials), but connectivity seems not to work any more. Tried to stop and restart the server with no effect. Can someone point me to any trick to put my system back on?
