I should point out though that I don't have any interest in poking around a stations web site trying to find a URL that will work with LMS every time I want to try a different station. That's why I like TuneIn. It used to be that I could see all the stations and just click on one of them and it would play in LMS. That is no longer true. Not a big problem, I'll just use the TuneIn IOS app and AirPlay. Life goes on. ---- daverich4's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16539 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107132 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

I'm using LMS to drive a Transporter and a Touch but the stations don't show up in the LMS Web browser either. Mac/OSX if it matters but I don't think that's the problem. Format of the stations must have changed somehow although I don't understand why there is no problem with any of the stations using the Tunein App on my iPhone/iPad. The Apps do show ads but so does Pandora and that works fine with the Transporter and Touch. ---- daverich4's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16539 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107132 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

I tried that with one of the missing stations and LMS returns the message that the station is not supported. That's too bad as for a long time I've used LMS to listen to local radio and now I suppose I'll have to use Airplay which isn't as convenient. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Tunein Radio Missing Local Stations
I've recently discovered that TuneIn Radio is missing a number of my local Charlotte stations. They show up in my IOS apps and when I log into my TuneIn account on the web. Can someone suggest where to start to troubleshoot this problem? Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Play AIFF files without converting to FLAC
To the OP, why don't you convert to FLAC? If nothing else, you'll use ½ the storage space...[/QUOTE wrote: > > > Because all of my music is in iTUnes which doesn't support FLAC. > Otherwise I would do that. ---- daverich4's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16539 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104938 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

My question actually is, can I stream 24/96 files in the native AIFF format like I apparently can with 16/44 files without converting on the fly to FLAC? Thanks. ---- daverich4's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16539 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104938 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Play AIFF files without converting to FLAC
I've noticed recently that all of my AIFF files are being converted to 705kbps FLAC files for playback. If I go into Advanced/File Types and under AIFF set the FLAC choice to disabled my 16/44 files play at their native bit rate without conversion but my 24/96 files just produce static, not music. This happens with both my Touch and Transporter. Is there some setting that allows the Hi-Rez files to be played without conversion?
