Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS 8.0.0 + Radio

2021-09-03 Thread pseud

Looking back at @thiemo posts, I'm wondering if Erland's server is
down?

I've just updated to latest
docker.io/lmscommunity/logitechmediaserver:stable (8.2.1)

I had repeated Radio disconnects so did a factory reset and installed
the patch installer etc. However, when I go to install a patch at
home>settings>advanced>patch installer all I get is 'bump; bump' (with
matching audio).

Patch Installer v: 1.2.36
Firmware v: 7.7.3-r16676

I have both:
http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins/repo.xml
http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins/test.xml
repos installed, but understand neither should be necessary.

Is there anything else to try.

Thank you all.

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] lost server.prefs?

2020-07-10 Thread pseud

Hello Folks

I found my server not starting with the following in the output:
Jul 10 09:19:58 vortexbox.lan squeezeboxserver[3285]: Cannot write to
'/var/log/squeezeboxserver/server.log': No space left on devic[...]

On investigation I discovered that /var/log/squeezeboxserver/server.log
1.5G! with 0 left available in /. Further investigation educated me in
the use of 'truncate' - however, just prior to executing said command I
noticed that server.log had gone from 1.5G to 0! And, / now looked like
this:
/dev/vda43.8G 2.3G 1.4G 63% /
Which is a lot healthier

I guess cron or something must have clobbered
/var/log/squeezeboxserver/server.log

The problem:
When I then came to load to the LMS web interface I was asked for my
mysqueezebox.com credentials and was then walked through the set up -
so, it seems in the course of the above, server.prefs has been lost (or
some other prefs?)

Is there anyway to retrieve my setup or do I have to do it all again...?

Thanks
Morgan.
