[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS scanning folders outside of the folders list
Just installed LMS. Defined only 5 media folders in the Library tab: 32721 However, noticed in the Status tab that LMS is busy scanning a folder *(O:\MUSICo-*) which is not on the list: 32722 How? You've catched it!
It took me a while to find the shortcut: it was hiding in
Users\{username}\Music, a folder I never used and that should be empty -
will never know how a folder link crept in there.
LMS starts indexing that folder by default; even though one of the very
first things I did was to remove it from configuration, indexing had
already started.

Windows 10 Pro / LMS 8.1 Reinstalled LMS from scratch. Library scanned. According to Control Panel, server is running and tray icon is green. However, renderers can't see the server - it doesn't show up among Devices and printers either. server.log gives no clues: Code: [20-12-31 14:34:16.0359] main::init (388) Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.1.0, 1608700893, Wed Dec 23 12:02:03 WEST 2020) perl 5.014001 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread scanner.log has no entries. An entry exists for Logitech Media Server among inbound rules. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] How to ignore CUE sheets while scanning
Noted in scanner.log that LMS (and Custom Scan) scanner process reads cue sheets. In this particular library, cue sheets should be ignored (even though many still remain there) because images have already been split into individual files.
