Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Can't connect to remote server when using HTTPS
:D Solved. Switched to the official DEV Image lmscommunity/logitechmediaserver instead of the old logicwar/logitechmediaserver, because even after apt update/upgrade/install the perl ssl lib stayed at 2.024 Server Info is now: Version: 8.3.0 - 1640614615 @ Mon Dec 27 15:51:43 CET 2021 Operating system: Debian (Docker) - EN - utf8 Platform Architecture: x86_64-linux Perl Version: 5.32.1 - x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi Audio::Scan: 1.05 IO::Socket::SSL: 2.069 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0) and https is working again. No the "Tune-in "box is the box in the standard WebGUI Radio menu called "Tune-In URL" IIRC If you are using Material then it is the "+" to "Add URL to Queue" bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115653 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Can't connect to remote server when using HTTPS
I also found lmscommunity/logitechmediaserver on the dockerhub, but this image does not show up on my qnap docker station. Can't you do a search for images there? I am still trying to figure if IO::Socket::SSL is container related or QNAP OS related...I keep looking... It's a container limitation. The underlying system is dated. ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

If you mean by "Tune-in box on the LMS WebGUI" adding a favorite, then no, the https link does not work. The http link works. The higher level of security is also a good point...I have the lastest Qnap FW...I would assume this should be supported..but I keep on looking.. The SSL support in your container is outdated (IO::Socket::SSL). You might want to use the official image instead? If you paste this URL into Tune-in on GUI - does it play https://s2.ssl-stream.com/radio/8210/radio.mp3?DIST=TuneIn bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115653 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Can't connect to remote server when using HTTPS
In the LMS server.log I see the error "Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for" when the radio wants to connect to https://s2.ssl-stream.com/radio/8210/radio.mp3 (I get this URL by doing a Radio Search). When I define an favorite with no https (http://s2.ssl-stream.com/radio/8210/radio.mp3), everything works fine. "Proxied Streaming" is used by the Squeeze Box Radio. I read that https is supported when using LMS. And it seems that the connection is refused on the remote part ? I cannot figure out why. Perhaps anyone has an idea ?
