Did you enter some repo manually? Don't delete the additional repo for
spotty. You don't need it.
Spotty is out of the box available in the third party tab of the plugins
page.

I updated to the latest version of LMS as described. I still have the same problem though - if I go to the plugins page, I see the following error message at the top: Bad repository https://repos.squeezecommunity.org/extensions.xml - Couldn't resolve IP address for: repos.squeezecommunity.org and if I add repos for spotty and, I also get this: Bad repository http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins/repo.xml - Couldn't resolve IP address for: www.herger.net I think there is a strange problem with my Synology NAS. on your DS213j.
After installing LMS 8.0.0 it should be available from the third-party
plugins by default. No need to add an extra repo (not sure, but it might
even be available in 7.9.1).

I am running LMS v 7.9.1-168 on a Synology DS23J running DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 3. I'm trying to install Spotty, so I went to the plugins page of LMS and added the 3rd part respository http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins/repo.xml. However, when I refresh, I get this error message at the the top of the page: Bad repository http://www.herger.net/slim-plugins/repo.xml - Couldn't resolve IP address for: www.herger.net It's almost as if LMS cannot access the internet. I can't explain this as the NAS certainly can see the internet, I'm downloading a torrent using Download Station as we speak, and just updated DSM.
