Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS recognizes data but does not display it
In fact, the problem was the "Stale file handle" message. This could be fixed by adding the "noserverino" parameter to /etc/fstab. Thanks to everyone who helped to find a solution. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS recognizes data but does not display it
The last log.file was done with "find changes". Now I made a new scan with "clear and rescan" and the log.file is much longer (see attachment). I found the statement "Could not open ..mp3 for reading: Stale file handle". I think this could cause the problem. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS recognizes data but does not display it
That shows it is really seeing the files. Was that a "clear and rescan" or "find changed"? If "find changed" then try a "clear". When you're logged in as root, you could do *su - squeezeboxserver -s /bin/bash* which will *s*witch *u*ser so that you are effectively squeezeboxserver. You can then try to do the file listings again, as that user, with its permissions. You can return to your original user (root, in your case) by entering *exit* Duet x 3, via various hi-fi. When logged in to the system where LMS is running ... can you list the folders/files beneath the mount point? Those sub-folders/files need to have the correct permissions as well. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] LMS recognizes data but does not display it
Hello everyone, I run the logitech media server on a Raspberry Pi OS lite (bullseye) on a Raspberry Pi 3B. I have the music files on an external hard drive, which is connected to the router (Fritzbox 6690). The Raspberry Pi is mounted with the Fritz.nas and the LMS also recognizes the directory and the music files. Unfortunately, no files are displayed despite successful scanning. Does anyone know what the cause of this could be? Scanner.log attached.
