Its not ready immediately after the branching, no. I think it'll require a lot more planning than "adrian sitting at home working on stuff in his spare time" - that works fine for stuff like store_copy and the logfile daemon stuff, but not for something slightly more complicated than this. I like to wait for the first stable release before any CVS branch, now all developers should work only for one goal: the first Squid 3.0 stable release. There will be time to "play" with coding.
