Hi, [EMAIL PROTECTED] /]# rpm -qa squid squid-2.5.STABLE3-0 my squid is running on Fedora Core 1 the version of my squid is squid-2.5.STABLE3-0 rpm. so far it's work well, but it cannot deny users based on the mac address of NIC, got from the internet resource that I have to recompile my squid, but my squid was installed by using RPM, with RPM format how to recompile it ? .. can someone please help me to solve this? My first question would be... does it work with WMP9??? Or just with WMP7.1??? Henrik, The WCCP router is actually on that vlan, and there are no ACLs or VACLs. As for interception, if I telnet to the proxy on port 80, I get redirected to squid on port 3128. Is there something that is supposed to be done with GRE? I'm not sure how to test that. Also, for testing purposes, I have configured the firewall as default to accept, so the proxy shouldn't be denying any packets.
