[squid-users] have problem to play streaming video via squid
Hi squid users, We are using squid transparent proxy and have problem to play streaming video with this site, www.mysee.com. When i tested without squid, the streaming can work. this is my squid version: Squid Cache: Version 2.5.STABLE14 the linux kernel: Linux server 2.6.17.4 #1 Mon Jul 10 10:11:19 SGT 2006 i686 GNU/Linux does anyone have the same problem? Hi Hendrik, I have try to disable ECN on my linux box that has squid. But I still have problem to access the site. Is there any other configure (squid.conf) needed exclude "echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn" to disable ECN? Hi Hendrik, My squid 2.5STABLE10 can not access this www.hbfootball.com.cn also, and have the same error message. As your suggestion, i have read http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-14.html#ss14.5 and look for "Can't connect to some sites through Squid". according to this info, there is ECN issue (if i'm not wrong). i tried to follow: To work around such broken sites you can disable ECN with the following command: echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn my /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn has already been zero "0", but still can not access that web. Another things also, I try to open this web using public proxy that running squid, and this public proxy can not open also. Any idea? Hi Henrik and Mark, Thanks for the response, really appresiate it. Currently we have more than 10 server running squid cache version 2.5STABLE10. So far only 1 server got this message. When we upgrade to stable10, all server use the same source. We will monitor this problem, and will upgrade to stable12 if still happen. Thanks again.
