[squid-users] Block all known image files with squid?

Anyone ever tried to block multiple image types with squid?


Im thinkin these 5  file types
outta be sufficient for this experiment.

 .jpg, .png, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .ico,

You could try something like following

acl FORBIDDEN_EXT urlpath_regex \.(jpg|png|jpeg|gif|bmp|ico)$
http_access deny FORBIDDEN_EXT

also you could try use of req_mime_type acl type
