Re: [squid-users] squid redirecting attempted downloads
Hallo, Dave, Du meintest am 22.08.11: We are having an issue where users try to download a file (an email attachment, setup file, etc.) and are redirected to a page on our intranet that says something about file downloads not being allowed. The person I took over from here says that it may be something configured in the squid.conf file. I found the file but have no idea how to disable or modify this setting. What's the name of the file? Can you find this name somewhere in the squid.conf? Or does squid invoke some other program like squidGuard? Viele Gruesse! Helmut

[squid-users] squid redirecting attempted downloads
Hey, First of all I know zero about squid, I'm not even sure this is a squid related problem. We are having an issue where users try to download a file (an email attachment, setup file, etc.) and are redirected to a page on our intranet that says something about file downloads not being allowed. The person I took over from here says that it may be something configured in the squid.conf file. I found the file but have no idea how to disable or modify this setting. Could somebody please tell me how to go about this or if it is even related to the squid proxy?! Thanks, Dave Dave Young Brahma Lodge Primary School Ph. 8258 5505 Skype: daveyoung86

What does the error message look like? What exactly does it say? Amos -- Please be using Current Stable Squid 2.7.STABLE9 or 3.1.14 Beta testers wanted for 3.2.0.10
