Re: [SR-Users] core at kamailio 5.1.6

2018-12-10 Thread David Escartín

Hello Daniel

sorry for the delay
We actually saw that the server running the kamailio had like issues to handle
all of the traffic, so seems the delayed process of messages came from there.
Since it was happening on a production environment, we had to replace the
machines, so now they are running on another servers.

Anycase, i will test that patch on a test environment and if i find any issue i
will let you know

thanks a lot
david

There is a similar issue on github tracker and eventually the patch
deals with both cases. Might have been an issue caused by a delayed
processing that also induced some response retransmissions. I want to be
sure it doesn't have side effects in some way, so be careful, watching
closely, if you push it to production.

[SR-Users] P-CSCF without Rx interface

2018-12-10 Thread Tsvetan Filev

Hi All.

May be this has been asked before but I was not able to find an answer.
I setup IMS with 3 instances of kamailio: P-CSCF, I-CSCF and S-CSCF (I
got the config files from here
https://github.com/kamailio/kamailio/tree/master/misc/examples/ims).

I would like to register two clients to the IMS and make a VoLTE like call.
So I want to setup my P-CSCF to send SIP messages to my I-CSCF without
Rx interface (without using PCRF).
I'm not able to find how to tell P-CSCF where to direct the sip traffic.
It obviously should happen in route[REGISTER].

Right now P-CSCF sends all REGISTER requests to itself and goes to a loop.

Regards.

Hi

You can comment RX in pcscf.cfg but if you don't use a PCRF or a EPC that's
not VoLTE call any more and You can use a softphone like Zoiper to set up
call on your ims and check your ports that you specify for P-CSCF and
I-CSCF in DNS and cfg files for solving loop problem

Hello,

just to clarify -- it was the server (at operating system or hardware)
levels causing issues (delays in processing), not app/kamailio level,
right? It is what I get since you say you had to replace the machines...

BTW, every time sending emails to you as a response from mailing lists
results in errors to deliver, respectively:

However, you seem to get the emails, as you respond. Is any
misconfiguration with the DNS somewhere on your domains?

Looks like a typo to me - should be "sonoc.io"

I suspect they're being received at bts.io

Hi,
The answer is right,

About your question: "I'm not able to find how to tell P-CSCF where to
direct the sip traffic. It obviously should happen in
route[REGISTER]."

In [REGISTER] route block you could see this line:
$ru = "sip:"+$rU+"@"+$rd;
Actually you are setting R-URI, In this line the $rd PV refer to ICSCF
in IMS network.
