 if(has_body(application/sdp))

 Not a really important question, just an observation that caused some
 headscratching on my first day after a nice vacation.

 I'm using an avp to make a redirect decision. Normally this avp contains
 Dutch
 telephone numbers (+31[0-9]{7,10}). With a simple:
 if($avp(dst_redirectnumber))
 {
   #change $ru
 }
 this works flawless (normally).

 But a client decided, to forward to a Swiss number (+4141743) but with
 this number the if condition results in a false. A German number just works
 fine (+49)

 The avp is stuffed in an avp_db_query loop with $avp($avp(i:1))=$avp(i:2) as
 key/value pair from the table.

 I changed above condition to check if the string length of dst_redirectnumber
 is larger than 0. But I'm at a loss why the false occurs, first guess was an
 octal conversion (number only contains the digits 0-7) which results in a
 number just above 2^32. But changing a digit to 8 still fails.

Seems that the user that runs the webserver cannot write on that directory.

Just take a look over the webserver logs and figure out.

[SR-Users] New official Debian and Ubuntu repository

2014-03-03 Thread Victor Seva
The new build system for Debian and Ubuntu packages is now in place.
This service is kindly sponsored by SipWise [0] thanks to Andreas
Granig [1]. Sipwise is providing the hosting and man power to create
and manage this new system.

deb.kamailio.org is based on jenkins-debian-glue[2] project running on
AWS EC2 environment thanks to Michael Prokop [3] and myself. All the
needed files, scripts and info to reproduce this system is kept public
at [4].

In [5] is described all the repositories available.

* nightly builds are been built if a change is detected in the branch,
once by night.
- kamailiodev-nightly
branch:
   - 'master'
distributions: jessie, wheezy, squeeze, precise

- kamailio41-nightly
 branch:
  - '4.1'
distributions: jessie, wheezy, squeeze, precise

- kamailio40-nightly
  branch:
  - '4.0'
distributions: lenny, squeeze, wheezy, lucid, precise

- kamailio33-nightly
branch:
  - '3.3'
distributions: lenny, squeeze, wheezy, lucid, precise

* tags are been built if a new tag is detected once by night.
- kamailio41
branch:
  - '*/tags/4.1*'
distributions: jessie, wheezy, squeeze, precise

- kamailio40
branch:
  - '*/tags/4.0*'
distributions: lenny, squeeze, wheezy, lucid, precise

- kamailio33
branch:
  - '*/tags/3.3*'
distributions: lenny, squeeze, wheezy, lucid, precise

Now there is no 4.1.1 package built so the default kamailio repository
is pointing to a empty repository. As soon as we release 4.1.2 this
will be fixed.

 I'm getting this kind of error running my unit test scenarios from

 problems.

 Any pointers to figure out what is the problem?

[SR-Users] is using Gerrit for Kamailio a good idea?

2013-06-07 Thread Victor Seva
Hello fellow Kamailio users and developers,

I would like to throw the idea of use Gerrit[0] for code contributions
reviews. This is not a replacement for the bugtracker, Gerrit will
help developers at the task of review and merge contributors patches.

I'm going to use mainly [1] to try to explain what Gerrit is:

Gerrit is a web-based tool that is used for code review. Its main
features are the side-by-side difference viewing and inline commenting
which makes code reviews quick and simple task. It is used together
with Git version control system. Gerrit allows authorized contributors
to submit changes to Git repository, after reviews are done.
Contributors can get their code reviewed with a little effort, and get
their changes quickly through the system.

It has a nice interface to review the different patch versions of the
change, you can comment any line of code easily and the change has to
be approved to be merged.

I would like to know your opinion on this subject and your experience
using it if you have it.

Cheers,
Victor

You mean modifiing cfg.y on:

}
memset(pv_spec, 0, sizeof(*pv_spec));

yyerror(unknown script pseudo variable %s, $1 );
pkg_free(pv_spec);
pv_spec=0;
YYABORT;

avp_pvar: AVP_OR_PVAR {
lval_tmp=pkg_malloc(sizeof(*lval_tmp));
if (!lval_tmp) {
yyerror(Not enough memory);
YYABORT;
}
memset(lval_tmp, 0, sizeof(*lval_tmp));
s_tmp.s=$1; s_tmp.len=strlen(s_tmp.s);
if (pv_parse_spec2(s_tmp, lval_tmp-lv.pvs, 1)==0){
/* not a pvar, try avps */
/* lval_tmp might be partially filled by the failed
  pv_parse_spec2() (especially if the avp name is the
  same as a pv class) = clean it again */
memset(lval_tmp, 0, sizeof(*lval_tmp));
lval_tmp-lv.avps.type|= AVP_NAME_STR;
lval_tmp-lv.avps.name.s.s = s_tmp.s+1;
lval_tmp-lv.avps.name.s.len = s_tmp.len-1;
lval_tmp-type=LV_AVP;
}else{
lval_tmp-type=LV_PVAR;
}
$$ = lval_tmp;
DBG(parsed ambigous avp/pvar \%.*s\ to %d\n,
s_tmp.len, s_tmp.s, lval_tmp-type);
}
;

Not malloc pv_spec and instead use pv_cache_get()?

 First a general recommendation: try to avoid patching core that much for
 non-common use cases.

Sure. I was just trying to see how this could be done. I don't want to
mess with the core. :-)

[snip]

 At this moment, I think a good solution could be:
[snip]
 - update the interpreter to use pv cache instead of own spec per pv (I can
 do it, being in my list and hopefully is no big change)

I will try to do it myself just to get familliar with this area. Let's
see how it goes.

 - if this feature is enabled in debugger module, it will create a hash table
 where to index pv set functions by pointer and point to the cache item
 - this index has to be created in child_init with rank PROC_INIT to be sure
 all pvs were resolved to cache item

Sorry. But I don't get this. Can you, please, explain me the rationale
behind this hash table?.

Thank you for your help!

Re: [SR-Users] kamctl restart and mediaproxy

2013-02-08 Thread Victor Seva
We use mediaproxy and kamailio and using the init.d script from the
Debian package to restart kamailio has no effect on mediaproxy
process.

2013/2/8 Eduardo Lejarreta lejarret...@sarenet.es:
 Good morning Daniel.

 I send you the messages log which is a bit filtered. The flow is:

 Start a call, engage_mediaproxy on ports (50156, 50157, 50158, 50159) and
 then kamctl restart. As you see it seems that an instruction from kamailio
 tells mediaproxy to drop the ports.
 We have tried to script around kamctl to avoid sending orders to
 mediaproxy, killing the media-dispatcher before Kamailio and then
 restarting again (media-dispatcher) and this works OK, but seems not be a
 reasonable way to fix it.

 Hi,

 i am using kamailio 3.3 version please help me with this issue.

 1) Registered from SIP end point, kamailio added row in location table

 2) Now using same SIP account details, pushed registration entry using
 kamctl ul add , instead of overwriting the previous contact by new one it
 inserts another new row in the location table

 3) Total now 2 rows with same username are present in DB.

 I am using save(location, 0x04) so before inserting new row it should
 check whether already entry is there or not, if there should update the same
 row.

 I look forward to your reply.

Take a look over max_contacts [0] parameter. A sip user can have
several locations.

Re: [SR-Users] Siremis on Mysql and Kamailio on Postgresql

 Hi,

 add also this patch to the sourceforge tracker:

 http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=3020101group_id=250738func=browse

 It will be applied to git -- few questions:

 - have you tested and still works with MySQL?

The siremis part is still using Mysql and seems to keep working.

 - the last chunk in patch is related to xml config files - does not seem
 necessary:

2xx_trans_diff - _2xx_trans_diff

From postgresql documentation[0]: SQL identifiers and key words must
begin with a letter (a-z, but also letters with diacritical marks and
non-Latin letters) or an underscore (_).

 Hi,

 the patch is to phpopenbiz framework, which is not included in siremis git
 repository. But we can include the patch itself and document it, can you add
 it as attachment to sourceforge tracker?

 http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=3020101group_id=250738func=browse

I already contacted with openbiz comunity to point the problem [0].

This patch seems to do the trick.

Re: [SR-Users] Siremis on Mysql and Kamailio on Postgresql

2012-04-12 Thread Victor Seva
Hi there,

I've just installed Siremis (3.2.0) with the same combination, mysql
for siremis and postgresql for an already working kamailio server. I
will like to point out that it was impossible for me to install
Siremis on postgresql, all the sql statements are for mysql server.

And the problem is that the ser module is not working. It seems that
OpenBiz is creating this querys:

SELECT T0.id, T0.domain, T0.last_modified FROM  `domain` T0   LIMIT 10
SELECT T0.id, T0.setid, T0.destination, T0.flags, T0.priority,
T0.attrs, T0.description FROM  `dispatcher` T0   LIMIT 10
SELECT T0.id, T0.lcr_id, T0.rule_id, T0.gw_id, T0.priority, T0.weight
FROM  `lcr_rule_target` T0   LIMIT 10

These querys wont work with postgresql because the `table_name`.

SELECT T0.id, T0.domain, T0.last_modified FROM  domain T0   LIMIT 10
SELECT T0.id, T0.setid, T0.destination, T0.flags, T0.priority,
T0.attrs, T0.description FROM  dispatcher` T0   LIMIT 10
SELECT T0.id, T0.lcr_id, T0.rule_id, T0.gw_id, T0.priority, T0.weight
FROM  `lcr_rule_target` T0   LIMIT 10

Works fine.
