Thanks a million for your reply ;;your notes are very much appreciated ;; yes that is what I was thinking a larger butane tank and a small oscillating cylinder outside a small water tank and as you said manually controlled by R/C ( you can tell when the water is running low by the speed increase. I have made basically the same idea for a GWR small prairy ( ie ) a boxcar containing metholhydrate and a water tank with hand pump ;; the engine has an axle driven pump . Thanks again Carl.
