I didn't see it either.  Graham, you could have gotten a message containing
a virus that was created by a mass mailer that used Carl's name as an alias
but was mailed from some anonymous source.

Graham, the Renger pump comes R/C ready to just plug it into your receiver.
It uses the same battery pack that the R/C system uses.

The one I use in the box car is modified for manual control . I did this by
removing the servo amplifier and wiring directly to the servo motor. It is
controlled with a simple on/off switch.

 Thanks a million for your reply ;;your notes are very much appreciated
;; yes that is what I was thinking a larger butane tank and a small
oscillating cylinder outside a small water tank and as you said manually
controlled by R/C ( you can tell when the water is running low by the speed
increase.
 I have made basically the same idea for a GWR small prairy ( ie ) a
boxcar containing metholhydrate and a water tank with hand pump ;; the
engine has an axle driven pump .
