Dear Geoff,

Are you the guy that my wife. Luz, knows from DH and that she thinks is
oikay? Maybe it's your accent. Is it you and that beautiful British
accent.? I only know you by your first name. If it's you, Luz sents you
her regards. She doesn't send those things to just anybody and if it's you
are one lucky SOB.

Be well,

Dear Jim,

Sometimes I get things mixed up and sometimes I don't pay attention and
sometimes---. I have been in contact with Geoff about the same
publication that I have been requesting from you. Duplication of efforts
and me causing double problems. That wasn't my intention.

Thank you,

Dear Geoff,

Thank you for the offer and I accept. In any event if there is a charge
please advise me and I will return you a dollar check.
I have been in contact with Jim in the States and I guess I have been doing
duplicate requests between you two.

In any event, thank you for doing what you are for me. And I love your
country, been there many times, and your personal humor, never been there
before. Don't worry. I'm made of nails.

Shall I send it to your address as listed in the Diamondhead roster?

Re: G1MRA memberships - USA

2002-08-28 Thread James Curry

With the list mom's forebearance I'd like to get a couple items out for U.S.
G1MRA members;

1. I've had many inquiries over the last few months about lapsing dates
that show up on the mailing labels. Ignore those dates. England won't
remove your name from the roster unless I notify them of a lack of payment.
They've been playing with "label merge" from their database and someone's
got the expiration date column on the merge list. Fear not, I have the
checkbook and spreadsheet and keep an up-to-date list of who's current and
who's not. Additionally, I forward a copy of the checkbook register to our
British treasurer so they have up-to-date(quarterly anyway) records of all
our financial transactions.

2. I'm going to get all US members squared up to expire at the end of the
year (Fall issue being the last). Pro-rated membership is $6.50/issue. So,
for recent renewals that has been either $13.00 to expire in 12/02(or 1/03
depending on how she's done up the membership cards) or $39.00 ($13 + $26)
which takes people up to 12/03. Some folks like to pay years in advance,
fine by me.

That's all.

Jim
