RE: how to unsubscribe ?

2003-08-28 Thread Bradley Handy
I'm sure you've already sent a message to the following address:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

You'll receive a reply from [EMAIL PROTECTED], to
which you *MUST* reply in order to be removed from the list.

It *IS* that simple.

Regards,
Brad Handy

FYI: Just because you don't like the mailing list, doesn't mean that
it's rubbish.

How to Unsubscribe manually???? Automated crap doesn't work....

2002-09-27 Thread cody . burleson

So, my email has changed and the automatic unsubscribve doesn't work for
me. I still get the emails from the group, however, because I still have an
inbox only pointer to the old email. Long story - please don't make me
explain or think that I don't know what I'm talking about.

I just need to know if there is a manual administrator to this list who can
remove any of the following subscribers:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks!

Do you remember the confirmation letter you got when you joined? Do you
recall it stating that you could contact

and not to post them on the list? :-)

You can send an email to the following:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

When you get a response back, make sure that you send a blank reply to the
address indicated in the message. If you do not follow the instructions,
then you will not be unsubscribed. I successfully unsubscribed last
Friday and then resubscribed on Monday just to check it out. I suspect
that either the second message is not being sent by the subscribers, or
the second message is not correct. The former is probably the most
frequent occurance.
Good luck. Remember Scotty never did trust the transporters.

Re: Can anyone help me how to unsubscribe

2002-02-06 Thread STEVE WILKINSON

One note, you MUST make the request with the SAME email address to which you
subscribed. If you don't you will not be unsubscribed. FYI when you remember the
email address that you subscribed and make sure that you make the request from that
return address it works like a champ.

Obviously, it's a good idea to save the WELCOME message from the mail list. In case
you don't have it, here is the Administrative portion of that message that may be of
some help.

--- Administrative commands for the struts-user list ---

I can handle administrative requests automatically. Please
do not send them to the list address! Instead, send
your message to the correct command address:

To subscribe to the list, send a message to:
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]

To remove your address from the list, send a message to:
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Send mail to the following for info and FAQ for this list:
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Similar addresses exist for the digest list:
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]

To get messages 123 through 145 (a maximum of 100 per request), mail:
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]

To get an index with subject and author for messages 123-456 , mail:
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]

They are always returned as sets of 100, max 2000 per request,
so you'll actually get 100-499.

To receive all messages with the same subject as message 12345,
send an empty message to:
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]

The messages do not really need to be empty, but I will ignore
their content. Only the ADDRESS you send to is important.

You can start a subscription for an alternate address,
for example [EMAIL PROTECTED], just add a hyphen and your
address (with '=' instead of '@') after the command word:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

To stop subscription for this address, mail:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

In both cases, I'll send a confirmation message to that address. When
you receive it, simply reply to it to complete your subscription.

If despite following these instructions, you do not get the
desired results, please contact my owner at
[EMAIL PROTECTED] Please be patient, my owner is a
lot slower than I am ;-)

--- END: Administrative commands for the struts-user list ---

Hope this helps
Steve

(a) how to unsubscribe, (b) mail archive URL

2001-04-25 Thread Iraklis Kourtidis

This is a reply to Uday's question, as well as a reminder on how to
unsubscribe.

The emails that have been sent out on this list can be found on
http://www.mail-archive.com/struts-user@jakarta.apache.org/
before you ask a question, it might help to look at this archive and see if
it's been answered already! It saves you time (sometimes) because you don't
have to wait for a response, and ends up not cluttering the list with
questions that have already been asked.

Also, information on how to unsubscribe follows.
