The ones in beta 3 are snapshots of the HEAD branches of each commons
library.

Struts 1.1 final will include only final releases (and they'll be
documented, but of course the version numbers will be in the
META-INF/MANIFEST.MF files too).  Doing that for the beta would have
required a multi-week delay in order for releases of all the commons
modules to be "encouraged".

It's a beta, not a final release :-).  Therefore, it includes betas of the
commons packages it depends on as well.

dependant on.

They are obviously not the current releases of these libraries, are they
nightly builds? Why are custom versions distributed with Struts? By the

This makes it very difficult to track changes and updates to the core
libraries that my application, as well as Struts, use.
