Welcome. Thanks for your offer. We don't have a coordinated design
team at the moment, all design work occurs in the GitHub issues and
pull requests for the repositories of the software; Sugarizer, Sugar,
and Music Blocks.

If you have design work time to offer, get involved in the issues and
pull requests of those repositories. Use the software, read the
issues, work to understand, and then contribute your responses.

You must use the software we develop to contribute to the design.

You can find training on how to use GitHub at github.com.

You and I talked about this on 29th July, please go back to read the
thread;

Thanks a lot, please I tried contributing as a front-end developer some months
ago, but I was told I need to have Linux OS to contribute. Am working on
windows, please can I get a link to any UI/UX project?

Re: [Sugar-devel] How can i join the design team

2019-09-06 Thread James Cameron
It is not true that you must have Linux to contribute. You can
contribute with Microsoft Windows, but you will need to find and use
development tools, such as Visual Studio Code; which is open source.

It is true that most of us can't or won't help you with tools that we
don't use.

Linux is a very good tool for coding, and you can get it on Windows if
you like. Since most of us know Linux very well, and it is free, it
is a good choice to learn for the future.

But if you already know other tools, please use them ... but if the
other tools are not open source license, we can't recommend them.

Sugarizer works on Windows, as does Music Blocks. Sugar does not work
on Windows, except in emulation.

You can find Sugarizer at http://sugarizer.org/, Music Blocks at
https://github.com/sugarlabs/musicblocks, and Sugar at
https://github.com/sugarlabs/

Hope that helps!
