[Sugar-devel] GSoC 2020 Proposals progress

2020-03-20 Thread James Cameron
We have two proposals with status "draft shared" on our dashboard;

- Resolve 100 issues in Music Blocks,

- Sugarizer game activity pack.

Neither of these have been shared with our mailing list, and the
students have made no public contributions apart from GitHub.

We have one additional draft proposal for "Sugarizer game activity
pack" that has been shared on our mailing list.

In all three cases, the students have contributed to Sugarizer or
Music Blocks before the application period. Well done.

[Sugar-devel] sugarizer-server setup

2020-03-20 Thread Abhishek Tanwar
I am trying to set up a sugarizer server on my local machine as I want to
add some functionalities to it. But for some reason I am not able to launch
the dashboard
I have executed these commands
https://github.com/llaske/sugarizer-server#running-sugarizer-server
did
- 'npm install'
- 'node sugarizer.js'
when I run node sugarizer.js is keep giving output on the terminal that
"Waiting for DB... (MongoServerSelectionError)"

If anyone could help me setup and run the sugarizer server dashboard
locally.
