Hey Ankush, If you are not planning to hack on web activities, you can edit build/module.json to remove sugar-web and work around this issue. [Sugar-devel] Clipboard object not appearing on new clipboard tray
I have been facing this issue and not able to get through it. I created a new module jarabe.bulletinframe which is a replica of jarabe.frame. When I perform clipboard operations, the clipboard object gets added on the original clipboard tray but not on the new clipboard tray. I can't figure out the problem as it is just a replica of the original. Any help with this ? No such error in the log too. The fact I am wondering about is even on being a copy of the original, the objects are not being added to the new clipboard. I have attached shell.log herein. Yeah, I am aware of this bug but what troubles me is that the behavior should be same for both the clipboards. But in this case the objects are appearing on the original clipboard but not on the replica. I recently installed XO school server in a VM for testing of my project. I have followed steps on - http://wiki.laptop.org/go/XS_Installing_Software. But couldn't connect to the internet. I have activated standard networking by running the command *xs-setup-network.* When I run yum update. Yes we don't require three buttons as such. *self.board.share_button* is just the activity sharing button which is also available in the description panel but I had put it here too because I wanted all of them to be at one place so that user have to share the activity before using the bulletin board. I will remove it and let the one present in description panel be used. *self.board.box_button* just opens up the chat entry panel as shown in the video. *self.board.button* is the main button which hide/unhide the bulletin board i.e, the friends and clipboard tray, chat interface, entry, etc. I can modify the bulletin button to do hiding/unhiding of bulletin board as well as the chat entry panel. This would allow us to include all the functionalities with just one button. I am not aware about the collaboration panel as I was never able to share any activity due to the proxy issue which isn't resolved yet. I forgot to mention in the previous mail if we consider the dragging and selection, the cursor would be the text selection cursor and also it may happen that a text portion is selected and the widget is being dragged along with it at the same time. This might create a mess. I coudn't get a clear picture of your alternative solution.
