I looked, but I couldn't find one.

I picked this one up by putting the cursor over the top of the list
view icon on the top right of the home view. A palette came up which
said "List view ctrl+2"

How irritating. Perhaps this could be changed.

You will see a date relative to an earlier OLPC OS build,
unfortunately. This is a bug that is not yet fixed, but I was unable
to find it in trac. It relates to olpc-update support. The actual
date is in olpc-os-builder source code.

I didn't know about ctrl-2. Is there a wiki page that covers all that sort
of stuff?

I'm a certified geek, but far from a UI wizard. How should I pick up stuff
like that?

-

On my XO-1 running os-14, the right hand column always says "5 years, 2
months ago".

That's for maze and everything else on the screen.

The up-arrow and down-arrow (pg-up, pg-dn) keys don't do anything.

But if I use the cursor to scroll around, I don't see any other dates.

2012-11-25 Thread James Cameron
Rather than be sure, you can check.

You can find the version of Maze on you XO by pressing F3, then
Ctrl/2, then searching for Maze. The version number is shown in a
column of the result set. For 13.1.0 build 14 it is version 22.

You can find the latest version of Maze by visiting
activities.sugarlabs.org. It says version 22, updated 20th November
2012.

Since my XO is fairly new, I am sure the Maze version must be the latest.
Anyway, clad to know it works that way. Will let you know as soon as I sync
everything in the two XOs.

It does really work in that way in Maze-22. I worked on that two weeks ago and I
tested it a lot. I played with up to 3 player per XO ;)

What version of Maze are you using?

2012-11-24 Thread RJV
Oops, sorry. Please read

When I share the Maze activity, the problem maze offered for the two
connected XOs, should be the same (or so was my first thought) since the
game, itself, supports multi-player mode but hey are both different mazes.

It will be great fun if both the mazes were the same and both players could
play on the same maze, racing against each other, as in the single XO,
multi-players scenario!

Thanks,

Jv
