hi,
any one have this old ROM upgrade for the Radeon 7000 MAc edition,  
cant find it on the ATI site?

Al you need is a copy of the: August 2005 ATI RADEON Universal ROM  
upgrade. It is hard to find on the ATI site. Also a direct link doesn't  
seem to work. Go here:

then click on Mac OS drivers
then click on ROM updates
then more at the bottom of the RADEON list then the next page shows the  
August 2005 download. This download gives you a full ROM update for  
most all Mac Radeon cards. If you do a custom install you can choose  
between the 226,218 & 208 ROM files. It has everything you need . Only  
downside this works in OSX only . While there are links for a Mac OS 9  
ROM file not sure it is as complete as the OSX version nor do I know if  
it lets you choose from the 3 different ROMS I recommend using the 226  
ROM. It fixed the wake from sleep issues I had with the other ROM's and  
also made my Sapphire 7000 PC Radeon card a fully supported MAC Radeon

Thanks we1,
what application do I need to install the ROM upgrade. I double click 
as per instructions and it asks for a application. Is this the 
flasher you spoke about?
