[freenet-support] "Service did not respond to signal" please help.
Hi, I am sure that you have heard of this problem before. I have tried loading freenet on Vista 32 and Win XP. I get the same response. I also tried installing with my firewall down and that had no effect. I do have java version 6 installed. What should I do next? You can try debugging freenet.jar on your own, if you don't believe, maybe you will find the clue. If you are not the proxy admin - no chance. If you are controlling the proxy, you could set it up for tunneling, or install freenet there and let it act as a freenet gateway. ___ support mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://hawk.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support

[freenet-support] Failed inserts & other 0.4 Problems
Hey guys, I have been unable to insert my site for days. I was using oierw's node on mu2.espnow.com, but now I'm running it. The problem is that while the inserts with fcpputsite go okay, I can't even reach my site from my local node. Earlier today, I was able to reach GJ's, and last night I was able to get gpl.txt, but right now I can't get anything except RNFs. Please advise, I have tried running it with a fresh seed.ref from the project's site, and a clean datastore. *nym ___ Support mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/support
[freenet-support] Freenet vs. firewall
Where I work there is a firewall in place that not only denies all incoming connections, but also denies all outgoing connections except those on port 80. (Yes, it is rediculous. But it is impossible for me to get around this.) Are there any freenet servers running on port 80 that I can connect to? Please respond directly to this email address. I do not subscribe to the freenet support mail group. Thanks, -TomK __ Do You Yahoo!? Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo! [freenet-support] Java Development
I'm trying to learn Java/Freenet, and I'd like to learn how to compile freenet properly using tools such as javac and code warrior. The macintosh platform does not have a simple script to compile it, and I'd like to develop a little. I know it's important to include classes.zip and swing.zip, but I really could use some more help.. i'm eager, and have patience!
