Can't change storeDir (Windows).

2019-06-16 Thread Γιώργος Κωστόπουλος
Doing this (through freenet.ini) and changing the default value to
something else fails.
Next time Freenet starts, resets everything and starts the 1st time
config wizard.

Am I missing something? :-)
TIA!
G.

Hm, sounds as though the entire freenet.ini may be getting invalidated. Are you
editing the file while Freenet is running? What software are you using to edit
freenet.ini?

I'm on Win 10 x64 Pro v. 10.0.17763.557, latest Freenet installer version
(B.1484), Java (x64, 1.8.0_211-b12), Firefox (x64, 67.0.2).

Actually, for telling you the truth, since I moved to Linux (ages ago) I've
lost contact with Windows programming. :-)
So, I didn't used any special editor. Just the Windows internal (Notepad).
I stopped Freenet -> Exit (via it's Tray icon) and edited the INI after a
while.
Giorgos.
