Android not finishing boot
I've just tried putting Qi and androidfs-koolu-beta3.jffs2 onto my Freerunner. http://freerunner.android.koolu.com/release-files Qi seemed to work fine with Om2009 testing. However, Android only partially boots and I'm unable to get the boot menu again to load a different image. Holding down the AUX button while starting and holding the power button no longer does the trick. How do I get the boot menu again? -Lars Here is what shows on the screen when booting stops: Freeing init memory: 132K Warning: unable to open an initial console A N D R O I D [21474550.150] modem wakeup interupt init: Unable to open persistent property directory /data/propery errno:2 init: cannot find '/system/bin/playmp3', disabling 'bootsound' init: cannot find '/system/bin/flash_image', disabling 'flash_recovery' warning: `rild' uses 32-bit capabilities (legacy support in use) The unit will respond to pressing the power button with messages like this: pcf50633 0-0073: ONKEY is held pcf50633 0-0073: ONKEY is held for 1 secs etc. so holding it down does not poweroff the unit. Popping the battery does, but when booting, the unit vibrates very briefly then the AUX button blinks red once. ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support

[Om 2009] X in grayscale after suspending (r4, testing)
Hey! Was trying release 4 and I am quite impressed about how the phone functionalities improved! Well done! I have noticed one little thing: when i suspend the phone and afterwards wake it up, my illume goes into grayscale mode. In other words the colors get lost in X after the suspend. Does someone else have the same problem out there? -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/-Om-2009--X-in-grayscale-after-suspending-%28r4%2C-testing%29-tp3031505p3031505.html Sent from the Openmoko Support mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support

Where is mplayer?
Hi All, I'm sure that there's going to be an easy answer to this... probably something like, you haven't configured opkg source [x]. If that's the case, I would appreciate some detailed help in setting up the appropriate source. So my question is: Where is the mplayer package? There are a number of media player applications that explicitly require mplayer as a backend. However, I can't seem to find a source for the mplayer package. I'm using OM2008.12. My configured sources look like this: r...@om-gta02:/etc/opkg# ls Multiverse-feed.conf all-feed.conf arch.conf armv4t-feed.conf om-gta02-feed.conf r...@om-gta02:/etc/opkg# cat * src/gz daily-Multiverse http://downloads.openmoko.org/repository/Multiverse src/gz om-dev-all http://downloads.openmoko.org/repository/Om2008.8/all arch all 1 arch any 6 arch noarch 11 arch arm 16 arch armv4t 21 arch om-gta02 26 src/gz om-dev-armv4t http://downloads.openmoko.org/repository/Om2008.8/armv4t src/gz om-dev-om-gta02 http://downloads.openmoko.org/repository/Om2008.8/om-gta02 The Video Player page on the wiki (http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Video_Player) unhelpfully gives the standard opkg command (opkg install mplayer) which is obvious, but doesn't work in my case. What am I missing? Any help is appreciated. -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Where-is-mplayer--tp3034029p3034029.html Sent from the Openmoko Support mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ support mailing list support@lists.openmoko.org https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support
